Elk River Escape, nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, on the Elk River near Watauga Lake, is a stunning secluded getaway that offers the tranquility that only mountain living can give.  It is ideally located and provides close proximity to just about every activity you can think.  Watauga Lake is only 5 miles away, where you can boat, jet ski, scuba dive, swim, picnic and enjoy a great day on the water.  We are also close to Elizabethton, Johnson City, Boone, Banner Elk, Ski Beech, Sugar Mountain where you can enjoy skiing, hiking, antiquing, fishing and river rafting.  If your passion is NASCAR the Bristol Speedway is just a short drive.
